L’Oratoire <\/span>des Papes<\/span><\/h2>\n

Close to the village of Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape, in a natural, protected space, lies an ancient priory; an exceptional site that houses semi-troglodyte vat rooms and barrel cellars, and the reception rooms of L’Oratoire des Papes.<\/p>\n

Its history goes back to 1880, when Edouard Amouroux inherited a parcel of vines on which there was an oratory dedicated to Saint Marc, the patron saint of the winemakers of Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape. It was this oratory that was the inspiration for the famous name that has for almost 150 years embodied the timeless alliance of prestige and pleasure that has made it renowned around the world. Inspired by the Art Deco design that has adorned its labels since 1926, L\u2019Oratoire des Papes is the incarnation of the spirit of this epoch when art and innovation came together to invent the future.<\/p>\n

Here, heritage is in perpetual construction, and progress is constant. Maison Ogier<\/span><\/h2>\n

Founded in 1859, Maison Ogier is in Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape, at the heart of the most prestigious appellation in the south of France. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To interpret the subtle variations of this terroir and of the entire Rhone Valley, Maison Ogier has deepened its knowledge of the soils present in the different appellations and adapted its techniques accordingly, particularly in terms of aging. Its century-old cellars, in the middle of the village, hold more than 8,000 hectoliters of wood vats, tuns, demi-muids, barrels and truncated-cone vats.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expertise of Maison Ogier is an invitation for a journey to the heart of the Rhone Valley terroirs, from North to South, with the river as a link \u2014symbolized by an \u2018i\u2019 on Maison Ogier bottles\u2014 between the sunny generosity of the region and the finesse of its wines.<\/span><\/p>\n
